A little bit of movie news to brighten up your Monday. Here is the first official look the all new A-Team line-up featuring Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as Sgt. “B.A.” Baracus, Sharlto Copley as Capt. “Howling Mad” Murdock, and Liam Neeson as John “Hannibal” Smith. The new A-Team movie will be directed by Narc and Smoking Aces helmer Joe Carnahan, and also stars Jessica Biel. The movie will hit cinemas on June 11th 2010.
In a word? AWESOME!

Liam Neeson? Seriously?! What’s he going to do, give lectures on the benefits of pacifism from an armchair in the back of the van? LIAM NEESON? I’ve seen more kick-ass in a donkey derby.
But Face looks seriously hawt, so yey.

Liam Neeson can do action, he was good as Ducard/Ra’s al Ghul in Batman Begins and he was incredible in Taken (one of my favourite movies of the year).
Best casting by far though is Sharlto Copley as Murdock. He was a revelation in District 9.
Oh yeah, Liam Neeson can do action all right. And i imagine Taken pretty much sealed the deal for him getting this role – though also because he’s a world-class actor obviously!
I think that Liam Neeson could be ‘on the jazz’ as Baracus used to say. Should be a fun film.
