Tron was one of those genre defining films. Back in 1982 this hi-tech, neon sci-fi movie was released and while it certainly hasn’t aged well, it’s still a nostalgia-fest like no other. Imagine what could happen if you were sucked into your Atari 2600…
Almost 30 years later, the sequel Tron: Legacy begins the marketing trail. Legacy is a 3D adventure set in a digital world that’s “unlike anything ever captured on the big screen”. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-wizard son of Kevin Flynn (Oscar winner Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years.

I just can’t seem tog et excited about this.
LOVED the original film - big part of my childhood. A real ‘event’ and at the time really was like nothing I had seen before.
I have seent he trailer and some of the shots and some of the potential plot ideas and it just doesnt excite me. I know it should but it just doesn’t. Maybe that despite them saying it is like nothing seen before - well actually it IS like laods of things I have seen before - maybe just a bit shinier and in 3D.
I’ll probably go see it and maybe my bad vibe will be changed
