Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin

TV3′s biography of Bill Cullen’s partner Jackie Lavin introduces her as one of his trusted aides on The Apprentice, alongside advisor Brian Purcell.

Following a successful modelling career, Jackie forged herself a career in the world of business by running her chain of retail fashion outlets.

In 1991, she and Bill Cullen bought the Muckross Park Hotel, an 18th Century Roadhouse in The National Park in Killarney, Co. Kerry. She designed Molly Darcy’s traditional pub and restaurant which won pub of the year in its first year of business and has won the Best Pub in Kerry award for 11 years in a row.

In 2006 she developed the hotel into a 70 bedroom resort with a monastic-themed state of the art spa. It received 5 star accreditation in its first year of business. She is currently working on the development of a medi-spa which will incorporate the very latest in nonsurgical skin rejuvenation proceedures.

She has worked on many high profile development projects for Renault distributers, such as The Liffey Valley Motor Mall, Airside Motor Mall, Rosslare Vehicle Imports, and The Europa Academy.

She continues to work as a director of Glencullen with a specific role in marketing and developing ad campaigns and is a trustee of the Irish Youth Foundation and is on the board of the Kerry Diocesan youth services. She is also a dedicated charity fundraiser.
