Irish sketch-comedy trio, Foil Arms and Hog bring their charming wit and observational character-based sketches to Galway Comedy Festival from Thursday October 27th to Saturday October 29th .

Described by The Irish Times as “one of the brightest new acts out there”, Sean Finegan (Foil), Conor McKenna (Arms) and Sean Flanagan (Hog) have carved an exciting reputation for themselves on both the Irish & UK comedy circuit. On top of performing for sold out audiences at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival for two years running, the talented trio have impressed audiences at the Carlsberg Comedy Festival, Bulmers Comedy Festival, Galway Comedy Festival, The Laughter Lounge, Electric Picnic and Glasgow’s The Stand Comedy Club amongst others.

Writing their own high-energy sketches with impressive performances to match, their show mixes the surreal with reality in original sketches ranging from the ever-disapproving Irish mother to a bizarre collection of iphone apps and extreme sandcastle competitions.

The ‘Hog’ of the group, Sean Flanagan has extensive theatrical and television experience having featured on the Emmy award winning series The Tudors and RTE’s applauded The Clinic. Conor ‘Arms’ McKenna is a rising star on the Irish stand-up circuit and has recently starred on RTE’s The Savage Eye 2 and Republic of Telly.
