With nothing much else on that either myself or my friend hadn’t seen we chose to see ‘I Love You, Man!’ last Friday night - despite the fact that my friend had seen it before. I suppose that in itself was a good enough recommendation.
A surprisingly funny movie, surprising since I’d seen no trailers so had no idea what to expect. The movie is definitely a bit of a no-brainer, leave the brain at the door and come right in. There were plenty of jokes for the lads and the ladies, it seemed to be a kind of chick flick for boys if that makes any sense-but more fun than the usual chick flick.
The main focus of the story is on the main character, played by Paul Rudd, trying to find himself a man friend before his wedding to be his best man. What ensues are the misunderstandings, fun times, arguments and honest discussions associated with any friendship and all crammed into one little movie!
Sure what else would a no-brainer movie need?
I’d recommend it if you want to sit back, relax and be entertained without having to endure blood, guts or violence
I love this movie! Jason Segel and Paul Rudd are two of my favourites and I was not disappointed
I hadn’t seen Jason Segel in a movie before though he does look pretty familiar. I loved him in this though
