
Galway Arts Festival 2009
The annual 31st Galway Arts Festival is just under 3 weeks away and once again they’ve got a huge programme of music, dance, theatre, comedy, street performance, literature and visual arts events to satisfy all appetities.
It takes place in Galway from July 13th to 26th in various venues around the city featuring both Irish & international artists. Here’s a small taster selection of the acts you can see there over the 2 weeks:

There’s plenty of stuff to keep the little ones content too including special children’s events & street theatre including the annual Macnas Festival parade.

Surprised to see no trad Irish music going on, seeing that Galway city is a hotbed for great trad music.
Still looks like great fun, and wish I were over for it..
