A lick of paint

It made the news headlines this morning, so I think it counts as pop culture.

It seems that airlines have a problem getting people to pay attention to the emergency announcements. You know the dull boring descriptions of what to do when the unlikely happens. There is also that entire social media preaching openness.

Well in an effort of “openness” Air New Zealand brought out a new advertising campaign showing they have nothing to hide. Nothing. The adverts feature their staff wearing a smile and body paint (OK, they have shoes and the luggage crew have ear protection).

There is a high definition version if you think you need it.

And so to cover the “Bare Essentials of Safety” the same idea is now available for those safety announcements. Somehow I’m sure that the screens will be watched closely.

I wonder if Ryanair will do the same shortly.

*shudder*

Hahahaha Will that is brilliant!! I love it! So funny. The body paint is excellent too, so realistic looking. I love the fact that they even painted on socks :D

Banish the thought about Ryanair though…holy moly :O
