So, went to see Inglourious Basterds yesterday. Brilliant movie, Tarantino at his finest. Make sure to check it out! Denzel Washington will be teaming up with director Tony Scott (Man on Fire, The Taking of Pelham123) again for Unstoppable, another runaway train film. The story focuses on Denzel’s railroad engineer who, along with a young Conductor, must try and stop a runaway train filled with toxic chemicals. There had previously been some trouble regarding the film’s budget but reports are now indicating that the picture is now gaining momentum after a last-minute deal to save it. Other actors rumoured to be joining are Chris Pine and Rosario Dawson. Production is schedueled to begin this Autumn. All Ireland Talent Show

It looks like RTÉ are all set to make a second series of the ‘All Ireland Talent Show’. I can’t say I watched it earlier this year but over half a million people tuned in to watch the first episode and with county against county, you can be sure lots of people will get behind it again this season. And first prize is €50,000-surely that’s worth trying out for? They ask ‘Do you dance, tell a joke, juggle, play an instrument, sing, or perform with a pet?
