Competition: The Sol Sunshine Revolution

*** Competition Closed ***

*** Congratulations to EmmaLouise and thank you to everyone who entered ***

No, you’re wrong, the Summer’s not over yet. Honest!

SolDon’t miss your chance to catch the last of the summer rays at the Sol Sunshine Revolution, an exclusive revolutionary night of music fusion taking place on the 16th of September at Odeon, Harcourt Street, Dublin. (please note this is a change of venue)

Sol, the Mexican beer, will give revellers a true taste of what summer’s all about with this ticket only, free event (you need to register online to get tickets). Taking to the stage will be the Choice Music Prize winning indie - electronica band Super Extra Bonus Party, friends of Culch.ie The Chapters, the 11 piece group Kormac Live and Túcan.

This is the third year that Sol has supported the Irish summer music scene - 2007 saw the Sol Shine DJ Tour, featuring Belle and Sebastian, and last year’s Sol Sunshine Revolution brought performances from David Kitt, Jape and Túcan.

Dinner and a Show

So, Culch.ie and Sol have joined forces to offer you the chance to win two tickets and transport to this phenomenal event, along with dinner for two in a top Mexican restaurant in Dublin.

To be in with a chance to win, just answer the following question and send you answers to [email protected]

From what country does Sol originate?

1. Mexico

2. Spain

3. France

Since you called it a Mexican beer, I’ll say “Mexico!” ; ) Sounds like fun, hope you all have a great time ! I’m still scheming for a weekend getaway to Dublin, keeping an eye on Aer prices.

  6. If it’s the Kormac I’m thinking of, I saw them at Castlepalooza last year and they were awesomely good. I’d go just for them…
