To coincide with the launch of the Remastered series on 09/09/09, EA releases its newest Rockband game and it has raised the bar. In July, I went to London to preview the game and got to play around with it as well as meet one of the game’s producers. BATS - Red In Tooth and Claw

With the release of their EP ‘Cruel Sea Scientist’, Richter Collective’s BATS blasted onto the Irish Alternative scene impressing critics and crowds alike. Their truly energetic live performances have drawn many a punter to see them, and they now sit happily at the top of the ‘Most likely to…’ pile.

Living away from Ireland I miss certain things, none more so than my local pub. Reminsicing over the good times that I’ve spent hanging with my friends I started to wonder what if I could drink in any pub/bar , where would that be? When my daydreaming led, as it inevitably always does, to fictional pubs I realised that most of the best pubs that I’ve ever paid witness to have been on TV. So I decided to catalogue the Top 5 TV pubs. Robbie Williams’ Bodies

Excuse me while I depart from my Beatles-centric posting for a moment. Robbie Williams’ new single has just had its first airing on the Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio One and on Ian Dempsey’s Breakfast Show on TodayFM. Bodies is his first single release since 2007′s She’s Madonna and it’s actually pretty good.
