Harvard Boy Breffny - Would you hire him?

You gotta love this. It’s a clip of Breffny from Monday night’s Irish Apprentice on TV3. Breffny Morgan is a 22 year old Harvard graduate from Cork (though his accent screams D4). Prior to joining The Apprentice, he earned a living as a personal trainer selling and describes himself as a “battle-hardened dynamo”, whatever that means.

There’s more clips and even entire episodes available on TV3′s Apprentice website.

    He’s such a tool, but nonetheless great entertainment

    LOL, I didn’t quote catch what the guy on the phone said when I was watching it the other evening. He was awful this week though, just damn lucky he had a great team.

    As he said himself, a ham sandwich could have done a better job than him :D

  3. Pat says:

    He is from where I am from and I remember him as a kid and this show is the last place i thought i’d see him, but i wish him well!

  4. Darren Byrne says:

    @Frank He is that.

    @Niamh A sandwich? When did he say that? lol

    @Pat Thanks for the comment. Is there any exclusive scandal you have for us? :lol: Did he always have that accent?

  5. Niamh says:

    Lol, he said it during that task, they could have put a ham sandwich on the chair and it would have done as good a job as him or something like that. In the same room as above with Maria and Stephen.
    LOL, ad for music group ‘Ham Sandwich’ just came on there *random*

    D4 is not the only area of Ireland with ridiculously stuck-up accents!

    His accents screams posh Cork, rather than D4, hence the nasal somewhat condescending tone.

    To me it sounds more RCYC (Royal Cork Yacht Club), Montenotte, Rochestown etc etc.
