Kings of Convenience ‘Declaration of Dependence’

The Norwegian based duo Kings of Convenience have a new record ‘Declaration of Independence’ out today, and yes the they have actually pressed a vinyl version to go along with the digital and compact disc release.

Eirik Glambek Bøe and Erlend Øye are the Kings of Convenience. I’m a fan of their music, contemplative lyrics and soulful melodies. They have a Simon and Garfunkle sound to them, but they also love adding in latin sounds or beats.

You can have a listen to all of their new songs here:

I’ve found some of their new songs recorded at a concert in Seoul:

Rule My World’

Love is no big truth

Peacetime Resistance

Mrs. Cold

Well, I hope you like their music, let me know what you think !

Here is one for the road ;)
