I hope you can get out to one of their concerts, always a fun time. I caught them in Boston during their first US tour back in the early 90′s at The Irish Embassy pub.
UPDATE: The Saw Doctors have just announced that they’ll be coming to The Olympia, Dublin, on Saturday 27th February, 2010. Tickets available from Ticketmaster.
Johnny Donnelly once had a fan come up to him after a show to tell him how much she loved their song “Two Injured Swans”.
Lol, ‘Two injured swans’ instead of ‘To win just once’ .. reminds me of Malachy McCourt’s book ‘A Monk Swimming’ which he had been saying in the’Hail Mary’ instead of ‘amongst women’
Or Billy Connolly’s “Gladly, the cross-eyed bear”.
Thanks for the link
Leo and Davy are hilarious.. really sound guys & very down to earth! Loved their Sligo gig….
