    Classic movie. I believe (according to movie lore) that Hitchcock screened the movie for a small audience and got a great response…except for his wife (who was his number one critic and editor-in-herself). She said that Janet Leigh twitched slightly when the camera pulled out from her supposedly dead face…so he edited in a freeze-frame to ‘deaden’ her further.
