No cheating etc, or I’ll set up a petition to get more Jennifer Lopez films made. I mean it.
Guess the movie: -
- Released in 1993
- Tori Amos was considered for the female lead
- Tom Hanks, Chevy Chase, John Travolta and Steve Martin were all considered for the lead male role. None of them got it.
- There are 38 days depicted in this film, either in full or part. Although the director revealed on the DVD commentary that the character could have gone through it for 10 years.
The 38 days has me thinking Groundhog Day. Bill Murray was a good choice as the lead male in that anyway.
Same as Keleher. A pure guess, but I was thinking Groundhog Day just because of the 38 days/10 years clue.

@Peter Well, put your little hands in mine, there ain’t no hill or mountain we can’t climb…
Has to be Groundhog Day.
I read at the weekend that there was a “critical analysis” done on the film, where he was there for 8 years and 8 months. Apparently Ramis denies this and says he thought of it more like 20 years. No wonder he was trying to top himself.
Groundhog Day?
