Sharon Shannon ‘Saints & Scoundrels’

I purchased the new recording Saints & Scoundrels from Sharon Shannon, a well known traditional Irish musician from co. Clare and after listening, have a review. I really like ‘Saints and Angels‘ which Mike Scott sings above, ’Cape Clear‘ which is a traditional air nicely played by Sharon, and ‘The Wild West Wagon Train‘ which is nice mix of the trad and non-trad music. The remaining tracks are a mix of different music styles, most are like the west of Ireland meets the wild west of the US, Shane MacGowan sings a song as well.
