The Apprentice Week Nine – What Happened?

Alternative Title: The Unfortunate Fall of The Great Breffmeister It was a sad day for fans of The Apprentice, as Breffny Morgan departed in a blaze of…whatever the opposite of glory is. The man was often the butt of jokes, made some terrible decisions, fell over and mumbled his way through pitches, but he was always entertaining and added something to this year’s show that elevated it above last year’s first Irish Apprentice. Before I go on with this week’s review, here’s Breffer’s finest moment:

Star Wars: In Concert in Dublin

I was never a massive Star Wars fan. Born in 1981, I think the Star Wars mania of the late 70s/early 80s just missed me. In fact, I think I only got around to watching them in sequence about three years ago. When the new wave of Star Wars films came out (Episodes 1, 2 and 3), I did watch them, but I was far from amazed. After all the hype in the last few weeks about Facebook and Twitter integration coming to Xbox 360 it finally happened yesterday. Today Sony has launched a firmware upgrade to 3.10, which will allow Facebook trophy and game sync support. So Microsoft’s great coup lasted all of one day? Nice.
