Premiere Night on Fox

Human Target premiered on Fox last night at 8pm before the 2-hour season opener for 24

In Human Target, Mark Valley stars as Christopher Chance, a private security provider, which is based on the (DC) Action Comics hero. His cohorts in this business are played by Chi McBride and Jackie Earl Haley.

Mark Valley was last seen on television during season 1 of Fox’s Fringe and he is married to it’s star, Anna Torv. Chi McBride had a great comedic role in one my favorites Pushing Daisies which ABC cancelled last summer. As for Jackie Earl Haley, will always remember him as part of the cast for the film Breaking Away.

This is a really good line-up and plenty of action a la 24 is to be expected.

Eh, Jackie Earl Haley, ahem - Watchmen!!!

Human Target looks good, though I’m not a big fan of Mark Valley. Wasn’t he in Ally for a while?

  2. Keleher says:

Hi Darren, did not see Watchmen, know he has been in more recent films too.
I watched Human Target last night, not sure when it shows in Ireland, I thought it was good, liked Jackie Earl Haley’s character/role, thought he played it well. Next episode is on for this Wed night at 9pm, its time regular time slot.

@KeithGeo: I watched the 2nd episode last night via the DVR, it was very good, the show looks very promising.

@Darren: when does this program begin in Ireland, would like to give an update, but do not want to spoil things for those who have not watched it yet.

  5. Darren Byrne says:

@Seamus Can’t find a start date for it (so, I’ve downloaded the first two eps)

  6. Keleher says:

Hope you like it Darren, it has interesting plot, action, and humor, light and semi-dark, from McBride and Haley respectively, think its a keeper.

Watch the 3rd ep last night, so far so good.. really like it so far. oh and if you havent seen Caprica yet if your a battlestar fan check that out, very good.

  8. Keleher says:

Thanks, KeithGeo, Human Target is definitely a keeper. Will check out Caprica, is that on SyFy ? (new US name) I liked the original Battlestar Galactica and did not see any of the newer one. I try not to give much away about the shows I watch here, on Culch.ie, because you have a delayed schedule there.
