There has been a bit of a lull in television programming the past couple of months, well, for the shows that I watch.
CBS’ number one program NCIS had a great season opener and still has an excellent cast and characters, the episodes still have the comraderie and comedy, but I think the stories need a little more action and suspense, perhaps this military mystery series has run its’ course. Its’ spin-off, NCIS: Los Angeles has gotten better as the season has progressed, is a lot more action based, the characters are developing nicely, and Linda Hunt is a hoot as the head of operations.
A pleasant surprise has been Human Target, the interaction between the three main characters is good, lots of action, some suspense, storylines are interesting as well, the show is definitely worth a look.
The following programs will be returning from breaks in the coming few weeks.
V returns on March 30th here in the US. The end of the last episode showed an enormous fleet of ships entering our solar system, the invasion nears, the sharade of the peaceful Visitors is about to end and their true face and plan will soon be revealed.
FlashForward returns on March 18th here in the US.
Check out these ABC websites with new previews by clicking on the name of the program. I am looking forward to the return of these shows. And yes, I missed Anna
Fox’s Fringe returns on April 1st here, and House has a new show this coming Monday which looks to be fun as he takes part in .. Speed Dating !
24 is heating up, Jack is back with the CTU, and intends to ‘hook up’ with the lovely former FBI agent Renee Walker after the current terror threat is over.
As usual, it is tough to be watching the shows here, weeks before they are shown in Ireland and keep things under wraps
Annoyed with myself that i didn’t catch ‘V’ while it was on here, but i shall rectify the situation And ’24′ is another show i really need to catch up on
Hi Emlyn, you can prob catch up on ‘V’www.hulu.com or via the link to the ABC website. With ’24′ there would a lot more to catch up on, with all the plot twists
Cheers James Now i’ve obviously seen the old series, so i’ll be curious to see how this one measures up. And yeah, so much on ’24′ to catch up on!
@Keleher Hulu is unfortunately one of those region locked websites. Only US IPs can access most videos. Most of the big networks, like ABC, adopt the same tactic.
For foreign fans it’s simply a case of wait for local TV or pirate.
Thanks @Niall .. did not know that
