New television shows this Spring

The following two new television shows will premiering this spring here .

On the FX channel a new program is debuts on March 16th titled ‘Justified‘. It stars Timothy Olyphant, whose last major television role was Sheriff Seth Bullock on HBO’s ‘Deadwood’, plays U.S. Marshall Raylan Givens, a hero who uses violent means when needed. It is based on Elmore Leonard’s short story ‘Fire in the Hole’ who is the show’s executive producer. The ‘femmes fatales’ are played by Natalie Zea, his ex-wife, and Joelle Carter as a love interest. The trailer fills us in on the background of the program.

On ABC this April 28th is a mysterious looking program called ‘Happy Town‘. The town of Haplin, Minnesota is a seemingly idyllic town but there are darker elements to this place it seems. The cast includes Amy Acker, the newcomer to town, who moves into a boarding house with rather strange widows, and a British man, played by Sam Neill, who owns a movie memorabilia store. Don’t forget the Pacific. Starts this Sunday on HBO.

  2. Keleher says:

Thanks, Ronan, I no longer have HBO since I moved at the beginning of the year, I’m an add on to the existing cable plan and not costing much now, I will miss In Treatment with Gabriel Byrne which is rumored to be renewed and back on HBO at some point this year. You’ll have to keep us up on the HBO shows ;)
