Well, so they say. It’s actually a lot more than that. Boob.ie is an online magazine for Irish men who like idle titillation mixed in with some very funny articles about cars, sports, movies, games, gadgets, TV and, yes, even fashion. In a matter of months, it has become Ireland’s most popular men’s website and this is down to solid steering by the site’s creators, Maxi Cane and Ham Solo.
Maxi Cane: Boob.ie editor and self proclaimed comedy genius. Don’t take him home to yer ma, cos he’ll do her. Twice.
Ham Solo: Webmaster Extraordinaire. Sometime Sock Puppeteer.
Get started with some great retro movie reviews: Donnie Darko, The Matrix. Check out the gadgets section and move on to some Friday funk from Paloma Faith and Goldfrapp before you ease into the hilarious Crudely Drawn Sex. Then, if you’re at home, if you’re alone, if you’re prepared for it, check out the girls. The ‘real girls‘ section is particularly interesting as we might even know some of the boobies on display.
There’s plenty more to the site - it’s often crude, often vulgar, but always fun and occasionally very clever. Keep an eye on Boob.ie and watch it grow. It’s only going to go on to bigger and better things.

I was about to ask where’s your post plugging a similar site targeted at girls but then I realised, us women have better taste than that
I think their idea is just after getting jacked by another site - I just heard a radio ad for “joe.ie” and it sounds quite simmilar.
Jays that ad for JOE.ie on the radio is shockin. Yer man has the most annoying voice. I really typed those last two sentences like a bogger eh?
If there was an Irish site with real men (obviously decent men) in the nude I would be all over it, taste schmaste.

Genuinely though, if there was a site with a load of nudey fellas on it, I don’t think I’d be all over that either. Wimmins are far prettier to look anyways - I just prefer a bit more left to the imagination ’tis all.
I have to agree which is why we don’t feature nude shots, and in fairness it’s a small amount of our overall content.
But it doesn’t surprise me at all that people focus on that small amount.

To be serious though, I do see that the site’s broadened out a fair bit from what it was when I first looked at its startup. The girls section is still the largest though from what I can see from the menu alone.
Also, by not featuring nude shots I take it it you mean not full frontal nudity. Cause I can see a fair few bare breasts (as beautiful as they are and all…)
But as I said it’s just not for me. Not just focusing on that so called small amount of literal boob content, more so the tone of the site in general. My original comment was just a gentle jibe on this site plugging boob.ie. Yes, I take your point on the name. But we don’t feature full frontal nude shots, that’s too close to porn and if we did that we wouldn’t even bother trying to defend ourselves.

We’re constantly tweaking categories and links and such, so yes the girls section has the most amount of categories but I’ve no problem in admitting that we’re learning as we go here.
We only feature “boob” content one day a week, so content wise it works out at about 15% of our over all content.
(average 4 updates a day, 7 days a week)
We have broadened a bit with fashion and grooming, gaming, cars, sports in particular, and lots of other stuff.
I wasn’t intending to piss anyone off and we’re not so naive to think that everyone will love or even like what we’re doing.
You make some fair points and I respect the fact that you took the time to elaborate.
