Interpol announce third night in the Olympia

Due to demand Interpol have added two extra dates to their scheduled gig in Dublin and are now playing in the Olympia Mon 29th Nov, Tues 30th Nov and Wed 1st Dec.

Mourning the loss of Carlos D, the dapper one at the back

It’s no wonder so many Irish fans are clambering over themselves to get tickets to see them in this legendary venue, though €44.20 (including booking fee) does seem pretty steep to me. Despite the ticket price and the regrettable loss of everyone’s favourite holster-wearing bass player Carlos Dengler I’m sure it’ll be a great gig. Expect material from their fourth studio album which is due for release in the late autumn and (one would hope) all of their hits to date.

The new, as yet untitled, album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios, New York. The band are giving away new track Lights from their website www.interpolnyc.com

Tickets for the Olympia dates can be purchased from www.ticketmaster.ie, outlets nationwide, or by phone:
