Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One

A new trailer has been released for Part One of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, out on 19th November. In 3D. With Bill Nighy as Rufus Scrimgeour and Rhys Ifans as Xenophilius Lovegood? Eh, a pint of YES PLEASE if you don’t mind. I do realise that for non-fans that looked like a mad mixture of made up words, but for me (and indeed TCup) the excitement levels are being dialled up to ELEVEN. Feck Twilight, it’s Harry Potter all the way!

Really looking forward to seeing this. And glad they’ve spilt it into two movies (which is also good for getting more bums in seats of course) ;)

    Any yes, feck Twilight.

  2. Twilight has nothing on Harry Potter! I can’t believe I just watched that trailer again. I think that might be the tenth time for me. Absolutely delighted that it’s been split into two and won’t be crammed into one movie. Twilight has followed suit though and they’re dividing Breaking Dawn into two movies as well with 3D in the second part of that or so it’s rumored.

Can’t wait for this. Can’t believe it’s not out till November. Such a tease!

Love the trailer ! Wish we did not have to wait so long though .. will read the books and watch the prior films in the meanwhile.

Now, now, can Harry Potter and Twilight not live together in peace?

Looking forward to Harry Potter, but why, oh why, does everything have to be in 3D now??

  7. Emlyn says:

@ Claire - yes, they seem to be all converting stuff into 3D at the last minute too with awful results. ‘The Last Airbender’ has been getting slammed for lousy 3D on top of an already lousy movie. Same deal with ‘Clash Of The Titans’. 3D is just a gimmick, distracting and whatever is made with it needs to be planned in advance - not converted at the last minute. I doubt Warner’s will do a lousy 3D job with ‘The Deathly Hallows’, but even then the 2D version will do just fine.

@Claire - I’m afraid they can’t live together in peace, seeing as Twilight is utter tripe. I was much happier when Robert Pattinson was just Cedric Diggory and not an idiot vampire in a terrible series!
