… but only because he’s finally released the video for sublimely sombre new single, Barnacled Warship. This is directed by Christian DeVita, lead storyboard artist on Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr Fox as well as Tim Burton’s forthcoming Frankenweenie. Innit pretty? Barnacled Warship will be released on August 16th (the day after my birthday, fact fans!) as a digital download, and on limited-edition 7″ vinyl, the latter backed with two poems, specially written and recorded by Johnny as B-sides for the single.
