Competition Closed: Win tickets to Lendvai String Trio at Kilkenny Arts Festival

If you are interested in music, there is an array of types to choose from at the Kilkenny Arts Festival. Matthew Nolan, a member of musical ensemble 3epkano and a lecturer in Dublin Business School is the curator of the Wired strand, an exploration into various musical genres. It is described on the website as being “like one of those old mix tapes you’d pass around from friend to friend” which is lovely. Here Matthew talks to Ken McGuire about his choices for 2010:

Also playing a huge part in the festival is the classical music strand. Susan Proud, board member of Kilkenny Arts Festival, Administrator of Music in Kilkenny and accomplished musician, curated the classical music strand of the festival this year. She spoke to Ken McGuire about her choices and what she is looking forward to at the festival herself:

To celebrate the classical music strand, we have a pair of tickets to see the Lendvai String Trio in The Parade Tower in Kilkenny Castle on Sunday 15 August at 11am.

Just leave a comment below to be in with a chance to win the tickets, competition will be closed on Wednesday 11 August at 2pm :)
