Hey campers, how’s about something to brighten up your Friday?
That Irish film that’s been getting rave reviews at the cinema all summer is finally being released on DVD. From today you’ll be able to pick up His & Hers in the shops and keep reading, because we’re celebrating the release with a DVD giveaway thanks to the lovely folks at Element Pictures.
If you haven’t heard about it (and you must be under quite the boulder if so), here’s a wee glimpse at what it’s all about: “His & Hers is a cinematic mosaic that tells a 90-year-old love story through the collective voice of 70 ladies at different stages in their lives. The hallways, living rooms and kitchens of the Irish midlands become the canvas for the film’s rich tapestry of female characters. The film celebrates the ordinary moments that add up to the extraordinary.” This movie really is quite something, with Ryan Tubridy calling it “as simple as it is stunning”, The Irish Times saying it’s “the Irish film to see this year” and Culch.ie’s own Kitty Cat saying “I can’t recommend this film enough it so wonderful”.
