Along the way they’ve gotten national radio coverage, and a live TV performance on RTE2’s The Café, Recently LadyDoll won the much sought after Jack Daniels JD Set, beating off stiff competition from some of Ireland’s best up and coming bands, as well as impressing the panel of judges, including Tim Burgess of The Charlatans. LadyDoll’s music would be most suitably classified under the genre of ‘Dark Rock’ infused with pop undertones. They play Tuesday October 26 in Roisin Dubh, Galway, Thursday 28 October in the Odessa Club, Dublin, Friday 29 October in Harrisson, Dundalk, Thursday 4 November in Auntie Annies, Belfast and Friday 5 November in The Weavers, Drogheda.

“Whose line is it anyway?”with special guest Phill Jupitus comes to City Limits Comedy Club in Cork on Friday 29 October at 8.30pm. Willed on by the crowd (well, maybe willed), through improvisation they create whole sketches and comic dramas that are … new. The TV show of the same name, “Whose Line Is it Anyway?” is a pale imitation when compared to this live show.
