Music Video: Morning Hush - Bare Hands

Morning Hush‘s second offering from their forthcoming album is ‘Bare Hands‘. Not quite matching the pedal power of the debut single ‘Romance’, it is nonetheless packing a catchy and eclectic beat with an incredibly watchable video from director Kev Corry. Reliably slick and up tempo every time we’ve seen them, we’re interested to see what comes next from this foursome. But in the meantime, here’s the latest:  

Festival News: 5-course Dinner at Body & Soul

We’re just a few weeks out from the Body & Soul Festival which we all but lost the run of ourselves praising here but they’ve come up with more to impress and excite. Just announced, a five-course banquet in the woods called ‘The Queens Go Wildside’ will cater for 200 people in 4 sittings across the weekend. Costing €55, the banquet will celebrate wild Irish foods and have proper silverware, linen, bubbly and everything. How very grand. Between that and the masquerade ball we’re going to have to bring the ballgown and the full length mirror. And possibly a bigger tent. “Expect sinful decadence, heavenly indulgence, a gourmet feast of guilty pleasures delivered to perfection in an otherworldly location” they tell us. Nyom! Movie Review: X-Men: First Class

Director: Matthew Vaughn Cast: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, January Jones, Kevin Bacon Following a poor third instalment in the trilogy and an equally pathetic attempt at an origins story, X-Men clearly screamed out for a reboot. However, with the vast amount of sequels, prequels, reboots and remakes already on the market, you would be entirely forgiven for wishing to sidestep the pain of watching some of the greatest comic-book characters repeat the previous mistakes of the last two releases. To this day, it is impossible to understand how Wolverine, possibly one of the most interesting and charismatic comic-book heroes, failed to make any sort of real impact at the box office, or indeed on the critics. So perhaps it was consoling to learn of the involvement of Bryan Singer as producer for First Class, the director that made X-Men and X-Men 2 so enjoyable and in their wisdom, … There’s more
