Midnight Movies: Plan 9 From Outer Space

On Friday the 17th in The Sugar Club, Midnight Movies are screening the endearingly bizarre and legendary mess of a film, Plan 9 From Outer Space, written and directed by Ed Wood. After attending their recent screening of Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! I can attest to the fact that the Midnight Movies crew put on a great show. Popcorn and cola bottle sweets are sold from table to table and a mish-mash of trailers for films like Blacula and Barbarella preceded that particular feature film in a genius build-up of anticipation. This upcoming movie night is guaranteed to please fans of sci-fi and horror, fans of bad films and fans of bad sci-fi/horror films most of all.
