A couple of weeks back both Darragh and myself attended the Irish premiere of Disney/Pixar’s latest feature film Up. Back then Darragh summed up his feeling about the film and I promised to do a review nearer to the Irish release date. Well that date is upon us now, with the movie landing in cinemas from Friday. Carl Fredricksen had always dreamt of escaping to South America to follow in the footsteps of his childhood hero, famed explorer Charles F. Muntz. Disney’s ‘Princess and The Frog’

Walt Disney Animation Studios presents the musical THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, an animated comedy set in the great city of New Orleans. As an addendum to Darren and Lotties Top Five Animated Movies (kinda), and with thanks to @verkoren on Twitter, let me present Disney’s Princess And The Frog, due to be released in Europe in early 2010. It looks like a return to the old fairy stories and magic of what many people associate with Disneys animated movies. Woo!
