Chris Tarrant is back in the news again. He was arrested yesterday on suspicion of assault in a domestic incident. It has not been confirmed if the allegedly assaulted woman is his latest girlfriend, his legal assistant Jane Bird, but it has been confirmed that it is not his ex wife, Ingrid. The couple split in 2006 after his wife hired private detectives to prove his string of marital indiscretions. A Surrey Police spokesman said: “Police officers attended an address in Esher at 12.58am on Thursday March 5 following reports of a domestic dispute. A man in his sixties was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to Staines Police Station.
