Oh! What a Luverly Larf

Granted, the drinking at Heuston Train Station, the drinking on the train, the drinking in The Left Bank, the drinking in The Playwright, the drinking in The Village Inn and the drinking in The Pumphouse all may have played a part in our collctive hangovers this morning, but it certainly made for an auspicious start to our Kilkenny Cat Laughs weekend. Up in the Village Inn we saw our first gig - Jarlath Regan compered and John Mullhaney and Sarah Millican providing further giggles. Millican, in particular, was hillarious. At breakneck speeds she threw out the jokes. I would love to catch her again at ome stage over the weekend. Tonight, we’ve loads on - at 6.15 we’re in the Ormonde for Tommy Tiernan, Dave Gorman, Shane Mauss and John Colleary (really looking forward to Dave Gorman’s set). Fun Times at the Cat Laughs 2008
