It’s the day after the night before and you’re probably the only person in the office so forget even pretending to work and instead check out this video from NPR of Jack White and Sea Sick Steve playing in a car park at SXSW. Conan O’Brien and Jack White cause a stir…

Who are Team Coco? Team Coco are the loyal supporters of pale Irish skinned TV host Conan O’Brien. Following Conan’s walk out from being moved to the Tonight show Conan has been touring North America on a “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television” tour of comedy, improv and song. Jack White and his sister Meg of the White Stripes fall squarely into Team Coco, having played the presenter’s former Late Night with show a record number of times including being the house band for a week, recording a music video with Conan and even appearing on his last ever show. Less than a full year than the release of their last album, the hottest new Nashvillians White, Mosshart, Lawrence and Fertita have released ‘Sea of Cowards’ hot of the heels of Horehound. The title ‘Sea of Cowards’, appears to refer to faceless internet critics. The album itself is an 11-track rock and roll powerhouse coming out on White’s own imprint, Third Man Records, in conjunction with Warner. Packed with Mosshart’s sexy vocals, Fertita’s growling guitar, White’s pounding drums and Lawrence’s driving bass riffs one would wonder what’s new with this album? How is the Dead Weather pushing the envelope exactly? Well, they’re not really – sure, the album is heavier but essentially it’s no great departure from Horehound. But that’s no bad thing, because Horehound rocked. White does take more vocal duties on … There’s more
