It’s no secret that I’m a horror movie fan. It’ll also come as no surprise that I love the Saw franchise. From the tense claustrophobic first movie, through the teen horror sequel to the empty and rather disappointing sixth film, I’ve watched them all and I’ve loved seeing the story play out around the gorefest. The first film was a genuinely original piece of film and will forever be remembered as a horror classic. It centres around two seemingly unconnected men (one of which is Cary ‘As You Wish’ Elwes), who are locked in a room together, chained to opposite walls.
