Movie Review: Polanski causes Carnage

When a collage of Oscar winning stars and an Oscar winning director get together for a project, you know the results are going to be good. Renowned director Roman Polanski’s latest comic clash of manners cuts through the everyday boundaries of civility to show us what really goes on when the walls come down. Carnage, based on Yasmine Reza’s hugely successful French play titled ‘God of Carnage,’ Polanski’s latest effort is a sharp satire that encompasses everything from marital strife to class values in one.

Competition: Beaver Puppets!

To celebrate the recently released Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster flick ‘The Beaver’, the lovely people at Eclipse Pictures have given us two beaver puppets to give away. If you haven’t heard of it yet, The Beaver is the tale of one-time toy exec Gibson who, suffering from depression and trying to get his life back on track, starts to communicate with his family using a beaver hand puppet. It hit cinemas on the 17th and Gibson’s performance has been described as suberb.
