Sarah Blasko, the ARIA winner (Which country is the ARIA again), brings intelligent lyrics, mature musicianship and critical acclaim (so you either love her, or have never heard of her) to the Academy 2 in Dublin on Saturday 11 December. Finding an excuse to come home for Christmas is useful, and The Coronas have added a second Christmas show at The Olympia Theatre. The band will now play Friday 10th and Saturday 11th December. GIGS The Workman’s Club, at 10 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2, welcomes Damien Dempsey, for a one off intimate club date on Wednesday 15 September to open the club. Support on the night will be from Eoin Glackin. Tickets Dundalk based Blind Pilots formed as a quartet of sixteen year old schoolboys with aspirations of making atmospheric indie-pop with a nostalgic tinge.
