Those crazy Soundcheck kids are up to something a bit crazier than usual. Play dead on the streets of Dublin and be part of the DEATH MOB, the Flash Mob to end all Flash Mobs. When I heard about the launch of Screencheck I was delighted. Watching a movie with friends and having a couple of drinks and the opportunity to talk about it? Brilliant. The fact they’re bringing the Princess Bride to screen tonight is even better. Free admission. Free popcorn provided. Grab a cocktail, throw yourself on a couch, and watch the movie in the Black Bar, upstairs in Spy. Also from 7pm, SoundCheck kicks off as usual with a line-up of film makers and film buffs DJing for your sonic pleasure. I was at soundscheck. I liked it. It was groovy…. the possé was there. I met Úna. She does rock… Hi Úna ! The choons were hippidy hoppin’… I had my nice shirt on… We met at Jasons BTW gig first… then it was over to soundcheck …. what a cracking night. Well needed.
