Music News: Chris Cornell announces June date @ The Olympia

Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave fame is taking his solo show, ‘Songbook’, on its European leg over the next few months including a Dublin date on June 13th at the Olympia Theatre. Known for his amazing vocal range, Cornell’s ‘Songbook’ offering showcases music from across his career… Soundgarden to Audioslave to Temple of the Dog… in an unplugged, up close and personal style. It’s been getting rave reviews across the water. We can’t wait for this one. Tickets are on sale tomorrow morning at 9am, starting from €39.05.

Rage Against The Machine have announced they will play The 02 this June. The alternative rock band have confirmed a June 8th gig in Dublin, 2 days after their “X Factor victory gig” in London’s Finsbury Park on June 6th.
