Scooby Doo is very popular in our house. The various incarnations of the show are constantly rerun on Boomerang channel and my rather discerning four year old finds it laugh out loud funny. It also evokes enough nostalgia in the adults that we often find ourselves drawn in to the exploits of those meddling kids. For the last six months or so, a commercial for Scooby Doo Live has been running during the show. Usually my eldest son, ‘Isn’t really into that sort of thing.’ but for some reason the combination of Scooby, Shaggy and Pirate Ghosts grabbed his fancy and ran a mile with it.
