Nevertheless,The Science Gallery on Pearse Street hosts WHAT IF… FUTURE FORM, FUTURE FUNCTION? from 8th October to 13th December 2009. Looks interesting. Also, and this is exciting, they are showing Brazil (YES, BRAZIL!!!!) tomorrow night, 1st October 2009 at 6pm.

Dublin Shakespeare Festival

The best kept secret in town. Someone please teach these people how to market their ideas. This week sees the first ever Trinity College Dublin Shakespeare Festival. It runs from Monday 8th June to Sunday 14th June and features performances and workshops based on the work of William Shakespeare taking place all around Dublin. It also runs alongside an extensive community outreach programme - workshops, performances and talks in primary schools around Dublin. Performed in places such as St. Stephens Green, Trinity College, Merrion Square Park, the Civic Amphitheatre, Liffey Boardwalk, the steps of Custom House and Christchurch Cathedral. With the exception of the headline show, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the shows and excerpts are free.
