First trailer for Cars 2

When Disney issue a new trailer that’s usually a good thing. When Disney issues a Pixar trailer doubly so. Today they issued first trailer for their next collaboration Cars 2! The movie is a sequel to the 2006 film, and sees Mater (the tow-truck) caught in a global conspiracy when he and Lightning McQueen head to Europe for the inaugural world grand prix. Obviously Lightning things the world is now ready for his showboating style of driving. A great voice-cast features Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, John Ratzenberger, Bonnie Hunt, Tony Shalhoub and Cheech Marin. Sir Michael Caine has even got in on the action voicing Finn McMissile (what a name!). The behind the scenes talent is top-notch too with the movie being co-directed by John Lasseter (Cars) and Brad Lewis (Ratatouille). Whilst the original wasn’t Pixar’s best received movie it was still an exceptionally well-made and well-told story. … There’s more

Rolling In The Deep

New Adele track folks. On first listen I’m thinking - okay.. good beat. Quite a catchy tune. Great vocals as would be expected from Adele. Still sticking in my head the more I listen to it but can’t help but think there’s a bit that just blatantly sounds like another bit from a Bee Gee’s song. It does seem to be another song about a torn relationship but of course, make your own interpretation of it. Love the structure of the song. Good mix of instruments. The track is set to footage of her recording the album ’21′ in Malibu last summer. Check it out below.

These films that have brought our favourite stories to life have lit up our screens year after year and they just get better every time. Deathly Hallows Part One is no exception. The boy who lived is all grown up and he stands before us as the young man who has been left a seemingly impossible task by Dumbledore. In order to kill Voldemort, Harry must track down the remaining horcruxes which all contain a part of Voldemort’s soul. This is the first film which does not feature Hogwarts and this lack of familiarity is something that adds … There’s more

Trailer - Battle: Los Angeles

I do have a weakness for alien action movies. This looks great! Battle: Los Angeles - What’s it all about? For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world — Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world’s great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind. Note: I’m waiting for a reply regarding the music in the trailer. If anyone knows who it is, let me know.
